Organizers of the tourist fair TITF-2010 are going to conduct a bright and unusual holiday of the international tourism in Tashkent.

This year, PC NEC Uzexpocentr is to serve as a venue for the next Tashkent International Tourist Fair (TITF) “Tourism on Silk Road” that is considered the organizer of thematic, international exhibitions both in Uzbekistan and abroad.

Aza Holmatova, Director General of PC NEC Uzexpocentr dwells upon the preparations for this international tourist event, annually organized in our country under the aegis of the UN WTO, as well as what exposition specialists and visitors would see:

This year Tashkent International Tourist Fair “Tourism on Silk Road” will bring together professionals of national and foreign tourist industry for strengthening partnership with a view of further development of tourism sphere. Uzbekistan is the country that has a rich variety of fauna and flora. Thanks to favorable climatic conditions the natural environment is successfully preserved here. Today, one of the main tasks of the protected regions is to preserve natural landscapes, rare and valuable species of animals and plants in natural conditions, for the subsequent enrichment of other territories by them. Experts working there urge to cooperate actively with local population, to find such forms and methods of work that will allow them to understand the importance of the wild nature, the role of protected natural territories in preservation of life on the Earth.

Magnetism of Uzbek Ikat  charming the exhibition in Seoul

Seoul has hosted the remarkable presentation of Uzbek ikat “Uzbek Fashion Blue and Green  Endless Silk Road”. The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan, The Fund Forum jointly with the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and the Association of Designers of the Republic of Korea.

The visitors had the opportunity to see the vast exposition of the Uzbek national fabrics, fashion parade of traditional suit and the music program with participation of leading musicians of Uzbekistan. The action hosted by the Lotte Hotel’s Crystal Hall was attended by about 600 representatives of official and public circles, diplomatic corps, leading textile and clothing enterprises, art and culture figures of Korea, as well as all who interested in the culture of Uzbekistan.
