Католики и протестанты пока боролись за свои веры, за своё понимание истины - люди действительно верили - покоряли не только страны, но и души. А когда начали извинятся за все подряд, то это уже был плевок в собственное прошлое, в результате этого, как известно, будущее в ответ стреляет из пушки. И первые признаки этого уже налицо. 

И как это не парадоксально звучит, но в контексте "исламского нашествия" это даже хорошо, что в Европе ”пока что лучше бытово”, чем у нас. Европейская цивилизация достигла пика материального расцвета, при нынешнем развитии производительных сил. Но ведь история свидетельствует, что устойчивость цивилизаций зиждется не на материальном, а на духовном благополучии. Столетиями Европа была сильна христианской верой. Вот и сейчас по вере и получает. Вернее, по её отсутствию.

Законы развития цивилизаций и государств практически вне этики, как законы физики. Поэтому любая идеология часто не согласуется и противоречит реальным делам и в итоге любая идеология может оправдать что угодно.

Нестыковки могут быть только между писаным словом и делами, но тут на помощь приходит трактовка. Пока инстинкт выживания в Европе был силен и писание трактовалось соответственно, людей, в массе своей, не смущала с одной стороны проповедь смирения и заповедь возлюбить ближнего, а с другой с крестовые походы, разрушение Константинополя или Альбигойские войны. Потому что культура, и религия как часть её, вторичны после законов общественной и политической жизни, которые существуют вне зависимости от господствующей идеологии или религии, законов исторического развития. Христианство, имхо, сильно навредило себе тем, что авторитетом в вере признала не только Библию, но и "отцов церкви" и религиозную традицию, а в католичестве ещё и непогрешимость пап. Это стало почвой для разнообразия трактовок и изнутри со временем разрушило единство верующих, не говоря уже о том, что стало аргументом в борьбе с религией вообще. Ислам более монолитен и в силу тех же законов истории перед лицом пока более мощной цивилизации способен забывать о своих распрях и объединяться.

Да, сила ислама в его консервативности и ригоризме. Внешне это проявляется как грубая и дикая сила. Распространение ислама и происходило поначалу только насильственно. Это у христиан наоборот, чаще сначала приходили миссионеры. 

Европа была музеем ещё лет 20-30 назад. Сейчас она постепенно превращается в надгробье самой себе. Она подобна старому и хилому старику в мощных и тяжелых доспехах и с прекрасным мечом в руках, но вот сил и боевого духа уже увы...

Европу уже давно хоронят. У нас как минимум с Герцена и Достоевского. Дело в сроках. Божьи мельницы, как известно, мелют медленно, но верно. И ретроспективно мы вполне способны этот процесс проследить, как цивилизация ”недовольных сократов” превращалась в цивилизацию ”довольных свиней”. Пока это разнообразие варилось во внутриевропейском котле, это было условием развития. Сейчас же речь идет о внешней угрозе. И с тем же Востоком она хоть как-то могла справляться, когда ей хоть на время удавалось худо-бедно объеденится. Вспомните Крестовые походы, осаду турками Вены. И Греция победила Персию потому, что в минуту опасности бОльшая часть государств все-таки объединилась. Что толку в европейском "может" если моральные и юридические ограничители не дают ей это сделать. А пора. Она как сильный, хорошо обученый и вооруженный, но трусливый солдат. Толку от него? Такие хороши в мирное время. Ислам разъедает Европу изнутри. Скоро голоса мусульман-избирателей приобретут такой вес и изначение, что в Европе исламскому засилью уже ничто угрожать не будет.

Инерция технического прогресса, когда одно открытие порождает другое, ещё долго будет сказываться. На духовное состояние общества это сильно уже не влияет. Это уже давно воспринимается как само собой разумеющееся, как общий фон жизни, поэтому на него Европа и мы опереться в духовном единоборстве с исламским натиском не можем.

Только духовно-нравственое возрождение на основе объединяющих нас в единый монолит ценностей и идей. Изобретать ничего не нужно. Всё уже давно изобретено. Нужно только преодолеть эту глупую привычку из-за малейшего расхождения во взглядах видеть в собрате врага. У нас гораздо более страшные угрозы, грозящие уничтожить и подмять под себя нас всех - либеральная глобализация и ислам.
