Не удержался от матерных слов перед друзьями. Сегодня как бы вышел новый номер украинского журнала "Esquire". Новость просто-таки отличная, но эти идиоты умудрились издать украинскую версию русским языком! Это же бред! Чем же он тогда будет отличаться от русской версии журнала?

И дело не в том что лучше, православие или ислам, а в том, что сейчас мобилизует и концентрирует силы той или иной нации. Для нас христианство стало прежде всего смирением и послушанием Божей воле, сила в молитве, а не в преобразовании мира вокруг, и все силы уходят на устройство быта и личной жизни. Мало. Необходима мобилизация и экспансия государства и нашей Цивилизации. 

Если для наших предков православие было путём спасения всего мира, а не только своей души, и его распространение и торжество были священным долгом русского человека, то в наше время православие - нечто утешительное под напором давления жизни, способ примирить человека с трудностями и невзгодами. Я уже молчу о тех, для кого православие - это некая разновидность суеверия, типа: поход в церковь - что-то вроде постукивания по дереву или поплёвывания через левое плечо, а молитва - что-то вроде контракта с Богом. А уж перспектива купить себе отпущение грехов посредством пожертвований - так просто считается чуть ли не решенным делом.

Православие необходимо переосмыслить и расставить акценты, способные объединить прежде всего самих верующих для ответа на исторические вызовы современного мира. Конечно, у нас реально верующих намного меньше, чем в Турции. Поэтому основную идею, способную дать народу вектор и силы к возрождению, необходимо искать вне религии. Кто знает, может Православие когда-нибудь и сможет стать такой объединяющей идеей, только ждать уже некогда.
