Hey!I haven't posted here for ages.I still keep a conversation with my friend.It's a rap musician Philip Lee from Pervosvet band. I want to make a recording on "The artist". He offered me his music for the lyrics.
A little summary of past year.
I left smoking. I smoked since I don't want to smoke anymore. As a result i can hit my high notes now easily.And my whistle register came out!
I deleted my vk page.It's useless now and it connected me to Russia and my dark past. So I congratulate myself with throwing such heavy ballast. No more junk in my life. Now I'm free to move forward.
I made a list of personal goals and i cross out each point when the goal is completed.
That hot summer. I enjoyed it while everyone were complaining.
I was compared to Amatue.I found out I was right telling that bitch to know her place and not to compare me to such a creepy psychos. So fuck off.
I began to develop my creative essence.
And most of all i did in 2010- I accepted myself.
My goals this year.
A correct pitch from c3 to c sharp 6.Also extending my range.
A good demo of my voice before publishing my EP.I want to sing Justin Timberlake's "Rock your body", Collide's "Frozen", some Linkin park song from "Minutes to Midnight", "Summertime" of George Gershwin and live piano-vocal cover of "Sunday morning" Maroon 5.Also i want to sing an aria from 'The Fifth Element" and aria of the Queen of the Night from "The magic flute".But not this year.
Leveling up my english to intermediate...
Then... practising rap vocals.
I'm ill with Eminem again.Ha! Lol:
And meanwhile making my EP. I wrote two songs, found my old song and i need to tranform them into a new sound.
This spring i plan to renew my piano lessons.Still need to recover my skills. Whole december i din't feel like practising.Also about vocals this week.Sorry.But i practised my rap vocals!
I'm going to pass an audition to Alisher Gathler's jazz college.First to ghospel choir, second to individual jazz vocals practising with a vocal coach. i don't forget about music inspite i study "project management".I thought like taking vocal lessons after moving to NZ, but decided to get some jazz musical diploma here.Just for credibility.I'll leave only in two years-so why not? Only two hours a week weekends ... and I'm the happiest human!
