EUR/USD - Weekly and Monthly Pivot Points and signals- For 03 - 07 September , 2012

The Pivot Point (PPV) is used as support and resistance at the same time; it is the first level that we observe. For this week the pivot points (weekly and monthly) for EUR/USD are: 1.2558 weekly; 1.2448 monthly.
The euro is located above the weekly pivot point and below the Moving Average of 200 periods.
Accordingly, the pivot points signify the following.
The euro is trading above the weekly pivot close to this level and is likely to continue its growth. The pair trend can be confirmed only after the end of September 4 trading session, so we recommend buying only if it closes above this level. Furthermore, the quote below the weekly pivot will add bearish strength to the pair until the second weekly support of 1.2389 (W_S2).

 

Bearish Strategy

Sell short at 1.2650, take profit at 1.2480 and 1.2386, Stop Loss is above W_R1.

Bullish Strategy

Buy long if close above 1.2565, take profit at 1.2652 and 1.2730, Stop Loss is below weekly pivot of 1.2558.

GBP/USD - Weekly and Monthly Pivot Points and signals- For 03 - 07 September , 2012

The Pivot Point (PPV) is used as support and resistance at the same time; it is the first level that we observe. For this week the pivot points (weekly and monthly) for GBP/USD are: 1.5839 weekly; 1.5757 monthly.
The British pound is located above the pivot weekly and above the Moving Average of 200 periods (blue). Therefore, the pivot points indicate the following.
It is probable that the pair will continue its upward move until the second weekly resistance of 1.5960; on the other hand, the indicators show overbought and bullish force depletion. Therefore, it is likely that the pair will return to the 1.5783 support level, in this case we recommend buying at that level and waiting for an upward bounce to first weekly resistance.

 

 

 

Signal For 03 - 07 September, 2012

Sell short  bellow 1.5981, take profit at 1.5839, Stop Loss is above (W_R2).

Buy long if rebound is around 1.5783, take profit at 1.5925, Stop Loss is bellow (W_S1).

AUD/USD - Weekly and Monthly Pivot Points and signals- For 03 - 07 September , 2012

The Pivot Point (PPV) can serve well as both support and resistance at the same time; it is the first level that we observe. For this week the pivot points (weekly and monthly) for AUD/USD are: 1.0340 weekly; 1.0403 monthly.
The Australian dollar is below the pivot weekly and bellow the Moving Average of 200 periods (blue). Therefore, the pivot points show the following.
The weekly pivot level of 1.0340 serves as resistance, a close above this level can change the downtrend with targets set to the first resistance of 1.0405 (W_R1).
On the other hand, the downward pressure will continue to increase below the weekly pivot which aims to the third weekly support around 1.0107 (W_S3).

 

Signal For 03 - 07 September, 2012

Sell short at 1.0340 with take profit at 1.0256 and 1.0191, Stop Loss at 1.0370

Buy long if close above WPP at 1.0345 with take profit at 1.0405 and 1.0489, Stop Loss is bellow the weekly pivot.

The Pivot Point (PPV) is used as support and resistance at the same time; it is the first level that we observe. For this week the pivot points (weekly and monthly) for USD/JPY are: 78.46 weekly; 78.64 monthly.
The Japanese yen is located near the weekly pivot and bellow the Moving Average of 200 periods (blue). Therefore, taking into account the pivot points, we can conclude the following.
The level of 78.46 (Pivot) is the weekly pivot, the past few weeks the pair was trading below this level, therefore, this level is very strong resistance, only a close above it will increase the likelihood of acceleration to the resistance level of 79.40.

Signal For 03 - 07 September, 2012

Buy long at 78.46, take profit at  78.75 and 79.11, Stop Loss is bellow weekly Pivot of 78.48.

EUR/USD Sell Bellow 1.27 For August 31 /2012 (Daily Strategy)

Bernanke's speech in Jackson Hole surely marks the trend for the next few weeks. Is it possible that in his words there is a promise of quantitative easing? Despite the Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke is trying to do more or less to ease the situation, there is still a big problem in Europe.
Therefore, our outlook remains bearish for this pair, below the level of 1.27. Only a daily close above this level could change my mind about this pair.
Therefore, we recommend selling if see a bullish rally to the level of daily fractal 1.2680 and strong resistance level with targets at 1.2465 and 1.2343.
Currently the pair is in an uptrend channel, but in overall the pair has a strong downtrend.
