I made this photo in my living room with the light coming through the door from the rights. I used a white transparent curtain to difusse the light and a silver reflector on the left.
This is a Romanian specialty made mainly from puff pastry and feta cheese.

Brunch (omelet, grits, and a biscuit) at Ms Shirley's in Baltimore, MD. I shot this photo outside, with plenty of natural light, using the camera in my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone (no flash). I have found that natural sunlight works best for taking photos. The colors come out naturally, yet vividly. The color of the herbs atop the dish contrast beautifully with the colors of the omelet and biscuit.

I used to really dislike styling salads because they were too busy and hard to find a focal point. Lately I have been shooting them overhead and I really like playing with the textures and shapes. This shot is one of the ones from my post today, it's a Spinach Salad with Steak, Onion and Date Kebabs with Orange Dressing and Crumbled Blue Cheese. 100mm at f10 natural light . La foto la hice con luz natural  frontal proviniente de una ventana y utilicé un panel delantero reflectante, buscaba un ambiente algo rústico y sin deamasiada luz. Utilicé mi NIKON D5200  y mi objetivo 18-105. Trípode, disparador por cable y ISO 100.
