My goal here was a "morning light" look, which to me means, warm, low angle with bright highlights and a bit darker shadows.  I got close to my goal (I'm going to have to break down and actually buy a professional light).  I used three flashes inside a 5 ft silver umbrella with no diffusion.  I didn't bounce any light back in.  This is just one big light source, coming from the top right corner of the image.  In post, I upped the highlights a bit, applied one half of a split tone (highlights only) with a warmer color, but only on about 3%, you can barely tell.  I also used the burn tool to darken the shadows just a touch and bring up the contrasts.  All in all, feeling pretty good, we'll see if the stock agency takes it.  The only thing that bugs me is the exposed wood in the lower right, I should have moved everything so it was white everywhere, but, live and learn right?

This photo has been taking using a compact camera, which is automatic, extending the zoom and being as near as you can of the object. This combo between zoom and being near the object is very difficult so usually you would have to make a few photos. HOPE YOU ENJOY!
