Every day we download videos from the Web, copy movies from DVD and USB drives, download our own videos from digital cams. For example, you can set the program to compare the first 20 seconds or 5 minutes of video. Clicking SEARCH starts the process.

The program goes about its work. Instead of checking for file names and sizes, it actually examines the contents of each file, and looks for duplicates and similar files that way. It compares files in different formats, for example, a .3gp file and an .mkv file, to see if they are similar to one another. After it does its work, results are presented as a list of thumbnails. The program organizes similar videos into a group and puts a tick next to the files identified as duplicate. So, you can simply click the appropriate button to remove them from the system. As you see, thanks to the unique video fingerprinting technology, you no longer have to spend hours on manual duplicate video search.
