Hongkong : Anime places

Hongkong is a nice place to do some anime stuff shopping.  The shops themselves are quite small and tricky to find, but it's getting easier once you have the exact address and some visual references. Here is my short review of the anime spots :

1. Sino Center 
Address : 582-592 Nathan Road
Visual : look for the big "stone" sign with chinese hieroglyphs + clock nearby
What you can find here :
- artbooks (I saw 3-4 shops selling very nice ones, the biggest artbook shop is located at the basement)
- japanese magazines and manga (no english versions though)
- PVC figurines (mostly the original ones, but be carefull of bootlegs anyway)
- anime wall scrolls, mouse pads, hug pillow cases, towels and cups
- anime pendants, badges and icons
- console and PC games 
- seiyu wall scrolls and records
- eye lens and some girl "lolita" items


2. CTMA Centre
Address: 1 Sai Yeung Choi Street, Mong Kok
Visual : look for the big red "CTMA centre" sign
What you can find here :
 - a few shops with PVC figurines
- Blythe, Pulip and small doll stuff
- eye lens and some girl "lolita" items

3. Animate
Address: actually they have several shops, listed here  http://www.e-animate.com/en/contact.html
Visual : look for the "Animate" sign in different colors
What you can find here (Animate sells only original stuff, so you're safe :)) :
- artbooks
- japanese magazines (including hobby ones)
- PVC figurines
- gashapons and petites
- anime wall scrolls, mouse pads, hug pillow cases, towels and cups
- anime pendants, badges and icons
- mecha, gundams and robots

4. Richmond shopping arcade
Address : 107-111 Argyle St, Mong Kok, Hong Kong
Visual:  there are two building entries, one leads to the "offices" part.  You need another one, with "shopping arcade" sign.
 
What you can find here 
- Magicbox shop with garage kits (yes! they have in-stock items)
- PVC figurines
- scale and military figurines
- gashapons and petites
- anime pendants, badges and icons
- mecha, gundams and robots
- some doll stuff, including rare SD and DD items
- some paint, primer and modeling items

5. Oriental 188 shopping arcade
Address : 188 Wan Chai Rd., Wan Chai 
Visual : look for the grey "Oriental shopping centre" sign
  What you can find here 
- some shops with PVC figurines (high bootleg alert !!)
- gashapons and petites
- anime pendants, badges and icons
- console and PC games (a lot)

6. Causway Bay centre
Address : 15-23 Sugar street, Causway bay
Visual : look for the green sign "Causway bay cenre shopping arcade"
What you can find here 
- some shops with PVC figurines (high bootleg alert !!)
- gashapons and petites
- artbooks
- seiyu wall scrolls and records
