Bhagnani acquires Gangam Style rights to launch music at CCL

When it comes to presenting the music of any film and it's expected to be grand, the platform doesn't get bigger than the one provided by Salman Khan. Jackky Bhagnani who is all geared up to entice the audience with his next film Rangrezz based on friendship and love will be launching the music of the film at the opening ceremony of CCL 3.

The actor who has already won many hearts with his dance performance and has given hit music numbers like 'Chaar Baj Gaye' and 'Boom Boom Boom', is all kicked to release the music of his upcoming film Rangrezz on such a huge platform. The actor will be performing on his song 'Govinda' from Rangrezz which sources say has already created a stir in the trade and industry.

People who have already had a chance to hear the song have been vouching that it has all the potential to become a huge hit thus adding another feather to his cap. The music of the film is given by Sajid-Wajid.

However, the interesting part about the music of the film is that the makers have gone all out and beaten international competitors to acquire the rights of the popular song 'Gangam Style' by Southeast Asian pop star Psy. The music of the film is said to feature a rendition of the song tweaked to the film's storyline and backdrop.

Rangrezz, directed by Priyadarshan revolves around love and the importance of friends and friendship in one's life. The film is slated to release on 21st March.

UTV signs Remo DSouza for a two film deal

Disney UTV has signed choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza for a two film deal. One of the films is likely to be the sequel of ABCD - Any Body Can Dance which is directed by Remo and has released worldwide today and stars Prabhudheva, Ganesh Acharya, Dance India Dance winners Salman Khan, Dharmesh, Prince, Mayuresh and Vrushali and Lauren Gottlieb (the finalist of the popular international television dance talent show So You Think You Can Dance)."e;Remo is of course a gifted choreographer, but as Prabhudheva said after working with him, he is an even better director! We have had a wonderful experience with Remo on ABCD. The film showcases his amazing ability to thrill and entertain his audience while at the same time to handle emotion and drama with sensitivity and depth. Vir Das Kangna in Revolver Rani

Vir Das, popular standup comedian turned actor, shot into the limelight with the Imran Khan starrer Delhi Belly. Now we hear that the actor has been roped in to play the lead role in the film Revolver Rani. The Tigmanshu Dhulia, Rahul Mittra co-produced film which is directed by Sai Kabir features Kangna Ranaut opposite Vir.

Revolver Ranwhich is said to be an action flick will feature Vir playing the lead role for the first time. While it is scheduled to go on floor in March, the lead pair will be attending a series of workshops with the director before the shooting begins

Akshays next to be directed by Sajid-Farhad

Akshay Kumar may be all set with the release of his film Special 26 today; however the actor is already moving on to his next film. The film which will mark the debut of writer duo Sajid-Farhad will be produced by Ramesh Taurani featuring Akshay in the lead.

Confirming the development, Taurani says, "e;Yes we have signed on Akshay to play the lead role in the film, while it has been written and will be directed by Sajid and Farhad. Both of them have proved themselves with five films they wrote for Rohit Shetty as well as Housefull 2. This film will mark their debut as directors. However, we have yet to finalize the female lead for the film."e;

When quizzed about the yet untitled film's story, Taurani adds, "e;The film will be an all out entertainer, but currently it is too early to say much more. We will be going on floors with the film this June."e;
