Rube – Crate Gatsby Party (ES040)

Rube, Currie, Minnesota, USA hip hop, swing, breaks. Rube is a DJ, producer, and swing dance teacher. You probably know him because some of his music was released on Jazz & Milk Records, Urban World Recordsand many of the electro-swing compilations. He loves combining the old and the new and the rough and the smooth. Coming from a Hip Hop background he also love old Jazz, Swing and modern Dance music. When teaching Swing dance he plays a lot of traditional and some Electro Swing stuff too. “It’s fascinating to me to see how the dancers react to the electro swing. With this mix, I blended some older favorites of mine with a few newer ones, jumping from style to style along the way”.
