The first look of Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor starrer film '2 States', an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name, has been revealed. The first look photoshoot features Arjun Kapoor in a white Kurta and Alia Bhatt wearing a saree.

The first look of Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor starrer film '2 States', an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name, has been revealed. The first look photoshoot features Arjun Kapoor in a white Kurta and Alia Bhatt wearing a saree.

The film is about a love tale of a Punjabi guy and a Tamil girl, and the clutural clash which surfaces between them and their families when they decide to marry each other. Arjun Kapoor will be playing the Punjabi guy (Krish Malhotra) while Alia Bhatt will be seen as the Tamil girl Ananya Swaminathan.

Directed by Abhishek Verman, the film will be jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Karan Johar and Gauri Khan. Screenplay will be penned by Chetan Bhagat while music director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will compose the tunes for the film.

Ravi K. Chandran is the director of photography and editing will be taken care by Aarti Bajaj.
