Joey Ramone Auction: Late Singer's Records, Passport on the Block

Fans of the Ramones will have a chance to buy a piece of history when late frontman Joey Ramone's personal items go up for auction.

Perhaps one of the biggest purchases will be the singer's record collection, which encompasses 97 pieces of vinyl, including titles from Led Zeppelin, the Who, KISS, Bob Dylan, Elton John and T.Rex.

Other memorabilia up for grabs are items from Ramone's wardrobe, his passport, and handwritten lyrics.

Donald Byrd Dead: Legendary Jazz Musician Dies at 80

After rumors began circulating earlier this week, it has finally been confirmed that legendary jazz musician Donald Byrd has died.

According to a family member, the trumpet player and bandleader, born Donaldson Toussaint L'Ouverture Byrd II, died Monday, Feb 4., at the age of 80. His cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Byrd's nephew, Alex Bugnon, also a jazz musician, revealed to Amoeba that his family had been attempting to hide Byrd's death.
