Future and French’s forthcoming collaborative Medusa mixtape is bound to produce a ratchet banger or two. These two may not be fond of singing on-key but they know what the people want to hear. Thanks to Splash, we have a appetizer from their project. This one goes out to all those who were riding with them since day 1.

Disney is gearing up to release their new film, Oz The Great and Powerful, which stars James Franco, Mila Kunis and Michele Williams in an adventure plot inspired by L. Frank Baum’s 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. To assist with the original soundtrack, Mariah Carey belted out a number to help with those long journeys home. The OST drops on Feb 19, but The Sam Raimi-directed doesn’t hit theaters until March 8.

Having joined Drake on his Club Paradise tour and released two projects (the DJ Drama-hosted The Heir Up There and his debut album, CHARM), Chase N. Cashe hasn’t made it easy on himself topping last year. Nevertheless, the Surf Club producer-rapper opens his account in 2013 with this heavy new track, “I’m The Man 2.0,” which hears him shout out A$AP Rocky, rep his native New Orleans and detail every way in which he’s “sh*ttin’ on foes” over a horn-laced trap beat (self-produced, of course). Chase’s new project, Heir Waves, is coming soon.

New Music: Meyhem Lauren “Lo-Down”

After taking shots at Pitchfork for giving his Mandatory Brunch Meetings a poor review last month, Meyhem Lauren continues to prove why he ain’t nuthing ta f*ck wit. On the Frank The Butcher and Paul Mighty-produced “Lo-Down,” Action Bronson’s partner-in-rhyme absolutely punishes a grimy, throwback beat, proving that New York rappers can sometimes still make New York-sounding hip-hop. This is the first leak off BAU’s All Is Fair project, dropping this April.

New Music: Devin Miles “Under Your Spell” (Prod. by Flying Lotus)

“This isn’t off any of my upcoming projects… just something I felt like you all needed to hear and can feel,” explains Pittsburgh up-and-comer Devin Miles of his new freebie. “Under Your Spell” finds the MC gliding effortlessly over an infectious Flying Lotus beat. Devin’s debut LP, This Is How I Live (featuring contributions from Cardo, ID Labs and Chase N. Cashe), is out now.

In spirit of the NBA All-Star Weekend, and also to hold us over ’til his fifth solo album, Bigga Than Life, arrives later this year, Birdman dropped a new mixtape entitled Rich Gang: All Stars earlier today. The 24-track project is largely a compilation of some of the hottest records by or featuring YMCMB members (such as Lil Wayne’s “Love Me,” Ace Hood’s “Bugatti” and, of course, Drake’s “Started From The Bottom“), but it also contains a few brand new cuts, including this rattling banger, “Fly Rich.” It boasts a pretty hefty lineup in Future, Tyga, Meek Mill and Mystikal.
