YOUTUBE Last minute tips for your Exams!2013-02-18 14:41:00 (читать в оригинале)(You will find many tips opposite to what counselors have to say but still we assure you a worthy read. Happy reading and All the Best for your Exams…)
#1 Sleep as much as you can. The more you give importance and nervousness to “exams”, the more it’d make you phobic. Remember what Batman’s father had said, “Even the most petrifying animal (exam) is afraid, that’s the reason they attack on you…”So don’t be afraid. #2 Filling up pages in short answer questions is not at all impressive. Make life easier for the paper-evaluator and she/he will make the same for you. Myth: Writing long answers will fetch you full marks. #3 If you are not done with your syllabus and exams are on head then leave the rest of the part and start revision. They will check your basics not the length of your last-minute-retention. #4 The revision should not be rote-learning. Instead, if you really want to score then observe the time you are spending on revision(s) every day. The less you spend, the more it’s effective. Don’t just scratch the surface: Go Inside.
#5 We know you cannot stay away from Facebook even during exams. So make the best use of it. Make a private group with only you as a member. Update the status whatever you need to know at last moment before exam. Post every day in the group. It’s the best way to browse through all the points even during free time. #6 The mind remembers more effectively through pictures. So, it is sensible to draw some sketches beside a concept, so that you can fetch the idea easily at the time of examination. Don’t end up enhancing your skills on sketching diagrams here. #7 “Practice board question papers from 2008 to 2012” as said by many teachers. Indirect hint. #8 Be focused on the following topics in Physics, as they carry almost 70% of the marks —electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic effect of electric current, EMI & AC, optics, and semiconductors. #9 If you are Alcoholic then please stop drinking during exam time. It decreases the withholding power of mind. Oh mind you! I said -during exam time- only *Wink*. #10 Be good in technical terms of each subject. For example: Electrostatics can be defined as electric charge on the object OR the branch of physics that deals with the phenomena and properties of stationary or slow-moving without acceleration electric charges. Duh! You will get no marks for former definition if any idiot has got checked the later definition before you. Alas! #11 Mark your weak areas and tell everyone about it. Those who are genuine to you will help you in improving it. Those who aren’t genuine will encourage you to study by making fun of it. Ultimately, profit will be in your pocket. Learning: Don’t be shy of what you don’t know. Learn to learn. #12 Subject wise Help:
#13 Last but the most important: Eat healthy. Avoid eating burger, Maggi and all these baked and fast food stuffs. Eat natural and score unnaturally.
Keep all these tips aside and Sit with yourself every day. There exists no mountain that you cannot break. It’s just the self-confidence that is the need of the hour. And remember, they will never test you for the things that they never teach you. So, in a way, you know everything.
