Friday photo story. Kiev, capital of Ukraine. Part 1

The best memories which come from childhood are referring to beautiful park located in the center of the city - Mariinsky Park. The palace of the same name - very majestic and airy looking - is also located there. I used to walk there along long shady alleys and breathing very fresh air.


The park-watcher lives there in such a small beautiful house reminding a forrest hut :-) it looks very cute! In Mariinsky park there is a sight area from where you can see the whole Kiev like on the palm. Looks fantastic!


And the center of Kiev - Square of Independence. It is located on the main street of the city - Khreschatik. All people gather to walk, visiting shops and boutiques, listening to concerts.


This is Kiev-Pechersk Lavra - the sacred place, and I would say it is located especially here not intentionally, as being here one feels very good and calm atmosphere around. Every time I am in Kiev I try to visit Lavra - to feel this energy. So majestic churches with golden cupolas, long alleys surrounded with high trees giving calm shade, many interesting museums devoted to Ukrainian history. In he center of Lavra square there is big stone of ancient church wall located. Everyone can calm closer and see it.

In my next post I will familiarize you with other Kiev sightseeings which make us all feel very proud of our capital.
