Toxicodermatosis

This name stands for toxic & allergic dermatitis caused by exposure to both toxic substances and allergic risk factors. These toxins can get in differently: with the food, intramuscularly, by breathing something in, or through the skin. As the process unfolds, the person develops acute dermatitis or skin inflammation that can, inter alia, affect some internal organs, which will, for sure, affect their functional capacity. The term toxicodermatotis was introduced relatively long time ago, but originally it was thought to be an adverse effect of certain strong drugs.
