Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it raised to 'A-' from 'BBB+' the counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings on Dubai-based Islamic Arab Insurance Co. (Salama/IAIC), as well as the core operating subsidiaries of its wholly owned Labuan-based reinsurance sub-group, BEST RE, notably BEST RE (L) Ltd. and BEST RE Family (L) Ltd. The outlook is stable.
