Financial markets today gave a big thumbs-up to the announced takeover of Dubai Bank by Emirates NBD, the country's largest bank by assets, as ENBD share prices rose 2.23 per cent and the cost for insuring Dubai's sovereign debt fell for a third consecutive session, once again pushing the emirate out of the top 10 riskiest sovereigns list.
