A recent Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry study on Dubai's automobile industry indicates that during the 2010 recovery phase, imports of motor vehicles rose to AED 20 billion, or by 33%, while re-exports recorded a growth of 11%, back to the 2008 pre-crisis level of AED 9 billion.
