В последние несколько лет тема заботы об экологии и защите окружающей среды стала если не идеей фикс, то модным трендом практически для всех представителей творческой интеллигенции. Об этом поют и танцуют, слагают стихи и пишут пьесы, рисуют картины и сооружают инсталляции... Интересный арт-проект Green Pedestrian Crossing, посвященный природе, экологии и защите окружающей среды, придумал также художник и дизайнер Jody Xiong из Шанхая. Огромное обнаженное дерево, уложенное на асфальт там, где раньше красовался пешеходный переход, демонстрирует преимущество ходьбы пешком над городским транспортом.
