Again photos taken at Pecherska Lavra. I find these icons and frescos just fascinating. And this temple is acting nowadays and I even managed to listen to beautiful service there.




From its square there opens up a very picturesque view to Dnepr - main river. It was very nice to walk there and see all these ancient temples and churches which reflect our many-century culture. One feels very calm and even happy there as it is well known that Pecherska Lavra is located at "the place of strength".




And off course several pics taken at famous Andreevsky slope (we all know that the house pf writer Bulgakov is situated exactly there). This is the view from Andreevsky slope. It was very nice to have tasty lunch after it in restaurant "Da Vinci" - one of my favourite restaurants in kiev. I would like to admit that pizaa is extremely tasty there!




And this is the house which impressed me the most at my childhood - this is the House with Chimeras. Really its roof is decorated by absolutely wild and unusual creatures like angry lions, beautiful mermaids, goblins etc. One of the most interesting examples of architecture in our capital.
