Неделю назад я решил сделать профилактическую чистку ультрабуку Lenovo IdeaPad U300s. Казалось бы, в чем проблема – взял отвертку и вперед. Но при ближайшем рассмотрении обнаружилось, что видимых винтов у этой модели нет. Под отодранной наобум резиновой ножкой обнаружилось пустое место. Учитывая, что никаких инструкций по разбору U300s в Сети найти не удалось, я аккуратно приклеил ножку обратно и поехал к товарищу-ремонтнику. Результаты нашей встречи оказались настолько познавательными, что материала набралось на целый пост.

 Поднялись на Rainbow Point, самую верхнюю точку Брайса, ок. 3 тыс., чуть больше, и оттуда спустились на великах. По дороге познакомились с добродушным вороном (as the raven flies - 6 miles: так здесь говорят, когда хотят сказать "напрямки"). Поужинав отличным T-Bone, вернулись в парк поснимать в сумерках. Оказывается, сумерки - лучшее время для пейзажа. Очень интересно наблюдать за профессиональным фотографом, особенно когда он, мой друг Дима Будько, попутно объясняет тебе что к чему. Огромная выдержка, восьмикратное отношение диафрагмы к фокусному расстоянию и прочие удивительные премудрости. Я даже упросил его скомпоновать по моему кадр. Короче: чайники говорят о фотиках, любители об объективах и только профессионалы о штативах. Штатив, оказывается, это нечто вроде твердой руки художника, без него в пейзаже никак.

Особый парад в Варшаве |
Более 300 активных мормонов и более 5 000 лесбиянок, геев, бисексуалов и транссексуалов (ЛГБТ) со своими сторонниками приняли участие в параде в рамках фестиваля Юта Прайд (Utah Pride Festival). Парад считается одним из самых красочных в мире, да и к гей-культуре здесь относятся весьма лояльно, так что ничего удивительного.
