Last week's MOSCOT EYEWEAR Trunk Show brought some energy to the shop! Most of the iconic New York eyeglass styles were available to try on in all sizes & color options to enhance each patient's experience with this special line.
We had some yummy snacks & refreshments to give our Thursday afternoon a laid-back, "happy hour" glasses mood!
Thanks to our many customers who came out to the event; those who purchased a new pair during the event helped us raise $1200 for Lifelong AIDS Alliance!
Weren’t able to make it? No worries, Moscot frames are a staple around the shop! We are pleased to stock a substantial quantity of the collection, so stop in anytime to see this wonderful eyewear line.

Great Glasses for every face benefitting community and supporting family-built business.
Moscot founder Hyman Moscot emigrated from Eastern Europe to Ellis Island in 1899 and began selling ready-made eyeglasses from a pushcart on Manhattan’s Lower Eastside. By 1915, he opened up the premiere location of his family-owned retail shop at 94 Rivingtom St.
With three retail locations in New York, Moscot is now recognized as a global fashion brand, but remains, at heart, a neighborhood optical shop.
All of Moscot's collections maintain a distinct aesthetic of that turn-of-the-century classic NYC style.
Lifelong was formed in 2001 through the merger of Chicken Soup Brigade and Northwest AIDS Foundation. From their beginnings in 1983, Lifelong has remained a leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS and continues to be a champion of healthy lives for all by helping people with chronic illnesses such as HIV/AIDS access heath insurance, housing, food and counseling.
