Summer may officially have ended with the Sept 22 Fall equinox, but we're looking forward to the fall crop of fresh frame styles that we are currently hand-picking for the shop right now!

"TONY'S FRAME" and "THE JENNIFER"
Both models are available now in three color options:

Many folks on the hunt for an ideal pair of glasses are drawn to the attractive aesthetic of plastic frames styles. However, not all faces have a nose shape that accommodates the standard design of plastic aka Zyl or Acetate, eyewear styles. For the person who needs a more custom-fit frame options, nose pad arms may be ideal.
We have a few eyewear lines that include nose pad arms- just ask an EOF staff member to show you what we currently stock.
In addition to the collections which specialize in having this customized fit feature, our lab provides the service of adding them to your own zyl or acetate frame.

How Long with Eyes on Fremont:
Tony is the "baby" of the EOF family, just having joined the team at the end of December 2015! He brings a wealth of experience fresh from his time in the SCCC Opticianry program & as an ABO/NCLE certified dispenser.
His EOF "Specialty":
Tony's outgoing nature & passion for eyewear fashion makes him a lively optical frame consultant and dispenser...
his boisterous laughter is an definitely an "ice-breaker"! It's possible Tony is one of the most friendly and light-hearted opticians of our bunch! He brings a great balance of optical knowledge and enthusiasm for eyewear styling to the EOF team.
Some of what maintains Tony's youthful attitude toward life:
One quintessential item always seen on Tony's person is a set of headphones- He loves to have tunes filling his head at all times, and most often its some form of Hip Hop.
Outside of the shop, Tony can be found "ballin"- literally, on the basketball court! Basketball is his favorite sport to play & he's even been a b-ball card collector since childhood....
AND, he's also a longtime fan of cars, but his love for them goes well beyond his own interests- it's a mutual passion that bonds Tony to his four year-old son.

Our Soldier's Angels Winter Donation Program was a smashing Hit! 2016-03-02 01:48:00

 | The EOF crew with Tricia from Soldier's Angels Organization (far Right). 441 pairs of finished reading glasses were successfully made & delivered by mid-February!
Eyes on Fremont had another great winter business season & wanted to extend thanks to the community by giving back to the local community. So for 2015, our bustling lil shop wanted to support the veterans of our region: We partnered with Soldier's Angels Foundation to provide much needed reading glasses for it's recipients.
For each complete eyeglass purchase made December 14th- 31st, we donated a set of reading glasses to Soldier's Angels... we successfully donated over 440 sets of custom-made reading glasses!
Shout out to Van Rue & his sales team from local lens lab, Single Vision Express for generously supplying the optical lenses.
And a special thanks to our lab staff, Elizabeth & Emily for working extra hard to crank out 400 extra pairs of lenses so we could deliver this donation at the beginning of 2016!

How Long with Eyes on Fremont:
Nikki has graced the Dr.s office end of EOF for 5 years now, having started in Fall of 2010. She has been the main assistant for C. Fast Optometry since they began with us!
Her EOF "Specialty":
Nikki is the main office assistant & technician for C.Fast Optometry, our shop's on site independent Optometrist. She maintains the supportive end of the Dr's office- from scheduling to billing to pre-testing- and keeps the heart of C.Fast Optometry flowing smoothly!
Nikki's creature comforts:
Nikki's charming & light-hearted sense of humor keeps the balance in our busy shop! Some things about her that speak to this: When she's not navigating the eye care world, She's probably nose deep in a book- one of her all time favorites being the Harry Potter series. Her affinity for the collection is basically tied to "growing up" with the characters of the novels as they came out!And remember the quirky tv show Mystery Science Theater 3000? Well, Nikki is also a big fan- Tom Servo is one of the infamous robot characters she amusedly keeps around.... The avid cat-lover she is, Nikki most likely is sipping her herbal tea of choice from this Garfield mug. Tea is her libation of choice around the office to keep warm & cozy while she does her office tasking. :)
