В свою очередь, издание Mirror пишет, что рыбак поначалу принял лягушонка за пучок травы, однако понял свою ошибку, когда этот "пучок" вдруг моргнул. После этого Джеймс смог быстро сделать кадр, поскольку, по его собственному признанию, всегда носит камеру.
Снимок, опубликованный на странице журнала Reptiles, мгновенно стал популярным. Выложенное третьего мая фото "лайкнули" почти 80 тысяч человек, еще около 45 тысяч разместили запись на своих страницах, а количество комментариев превысило четыре тысячи. В них пользователи умиляются лягушонку, а также благодарят Ангуса Джеймса за гуманизм - после того как он сделал кадр, рыба была отпущена обратно в воду.
